Diageo wanted to enhance user engagement and provide personalized cocktail recommendations.

Despite the vast range of flavors and possible combinations, only 3% of Google recipe searches were for cocktails. Diageo aimed to address this gap by offering tailored cocktail recommendations to engage users and keep them on partner websites longer.

The idea was to develop the WYC platform and a smart ad widget. The strategy was to use AI-driven personalized recommendations to cater to individual taste preferences and increase user engagement. The smart ad module used AI to offer personalized cocktail recommendations. This module integrated seamlessly with partner websites, enhancing user engagement and boosting traffic and SEO rankings. Using Diageo's FlavorPrint AI module, the ad widget suggested cocktails based on users' taste profiles, making each recommendation unique and personalized.
